Howdy partners! Look who's back, again. Recently I've been taking As Photography, and studying towards my exam and all that shpew your not really interested in but i managed to get some pictures just for you guys whilst doing another shoot for my coursework. I've wanted to show of some off my style, and how i put things together for a while now but due due to my recent luck with technology hasn't been possible, untill now..TAHDAAH! This literally is what i would throw together from my wardrobe if i had half an hour to get ready, using a mixture of highstreet and charity shop buys. I  didn't really fancy being in front of a camera, I've reeled in one of my pals to give me a hand and look beautiful. This is a massive miss mash and not particularly season appropriate, however if your from the uk  your never going to know what the weathers going to throw at you..Enjoy!

I've styled this over sized mens jumper that i brought from oxfam for £4.00 a few months back with a cheap pair of suspender tights, black bodycon skirt (H&M 3.99) and this really cool faux fur hat that i conveniently found at a jumble sale for a measly 50p! This just goes to show that you don't need to spend a fortune to look well put together. If your feeling brave, a good pair of black wedges or litas would look awesome with this outfit and some controversially pricey but ever the more fabulous disco pants if your feeling fancy!

Scarfs really are a cheap as chips way of making your outfit look different when tastefully put together, and are SO easy to find. Highstreet stores have tonnes, but why look the same as everyone else when you could find a one off all for yourself for a fraction of the price? I Found this red one in a local charity shop with gold chain detail and it really does go with everything. I've paired it with a cool tank that i found at topshop, suspender tights and boots to give it a bit of an edge. This outfit really is perfect for all rear round, light and airy in the summer, and layered with chunky knits and leather biker jakets would be perfect for the winter! Again, litas or black wedges would go well with this and could transform it from a day time, to night time look. The burnt out peace tank could be styles with high waisted shorts on a summer day, disco pants or even an extreme dip midi skirt could also work well.

My posts at the moment seem to be a bit muddled, however i finish college in a few months! I've decided to take this on as a full time thing with regular daily blogposts for you guys. Suggestions for posts really would be so helpful, anything and everything is welcome. I also now have my very own asos market place shop, selling a collection of vintage finds so please do have a gander; something may take your fancy! More items to be listed within the next week :)

oooo i love you shoes

It seems that I'm back after a very long and dragged out period of blog free life. I thought I'd kick start my homecoming by treating you all too some Dr Marten love.
I've been lusting over a pair of Dr Martens for a fair while now, and as my money situation always seems to be in the gutter it takes me a while to scrape together enough shmucks for these babies.

For me, a pair of Dr Martens are a must have wardrobe accessory and add instant originality to any outfit. The history behind the brand fascinates me and they NEVER seem to go out of fashion. Being one of the most recognized pieces for Skinheads in the 60's and 70's this was the time when they most flourished and i think, really influences the current urban style. Yes, i will admit that they are a large chunk out of your wage packet but by joe are they worth it. They could be one of the most sustainable, versatile shoe on the planet. They have the potential to be very well loved and will last a lot longer than your average overly priced 80 pound shoe.
I Wear them with anything and everything and surprisingly manage to accumulate a handful of compliments every time i put them on my feet! I love how they're original and they can be brought to suit your personality and come in every color of the rainbow and texture imaginable.
Of course like i say in every post, I'm not telling you how to wear anything. I simply advise and like to inspire.

For a lot of this year, it has been wasted on being a coach potato and lusting over endless items of clothing and more importantly the beautiful pair of DM's that i now thankfully own, but alas, they are still my only pair. Many months, and a substantial amount of money later I'm still sat here with wishful thoughts hoping that my next pair will appear out of nowhere. This seems greedy of me, i admit it but it seems i never take them off. Just the very thought of being able to chose from array of different colors gets my quivering in excitement in my seat.
Now, i am not a stylist and i certainly do not practice what i preach as much as i would love too. What do i wear them with i hear you cry, anything! Style is down to the individual and I'm not here to tell you what to wear but for me personally the only thing i wear them with are tights, leggings and occasionally jeans. Baggy tees and chunky knits are my favourite with tights and a good pair of men's socks. I'm not one to wear fitted clothes too often and after chucking anything on they seem to always jazz it up, somehow they have created my style a long with my endless pile of charity shop goodies. I don't have a camera to hand at this moment so I've 'borrowed' a few from tumblr etc.. just to give you a taster. Watch this space and I'll add some of my own.

Nothing is all perfect, as much as i have made them out to be. The only thing that i can criticize is the notoriously hurtful process of breaking in the boots. It shouldn't take long, depending on how often you wear them. Many have said to me to do this in the comfort of my own home for a few weeks to get used to them. Ofcourse, i was too impatient as always and jumped straight into the deep end. The day after they were purchased i embarked on a weekend camping trip with family and friends and decided that this was the perfect oppertunity to break them in. i would just like to advise you NOT TO DO THIS. I learnt the hard way and wasn't clever enough to take another pair of shoes with me. My feet, i am sad to say were not too pleased with my decision and nor was i but it worked, and they broke in, in only a few days. If your prepared for a week of diar agony then by all means be as foolish as i was! Or, if you are wise and aren't as desperate as i was to show them off then take your time. Wear them on a short shopping trip or a day at college where you wont be walking too much, this should only take around a week to two weeks just make sure that when you wear them you do wear some nice think Daddy socks as i like to call them and once theyre ready you shall find out as a wise one once told me 'They are the most comfy shoes you will ever wear, you will be sleeping in them'

Please bare in mind that i have not been payed, or asked to review this product and am simply writing about it because i want to. Everything i have written about is my honest opinion. The photographs used in this post are not my own, sourced from weheartit.com

I'm sorry!

To those of you who do follow, and are waiting for the next post i am sorry :( i have somewhat been in a bit of a technology depression for the past month or so and have not really been very close to a computer. I can certainly say that i have not been best pleased about this situation and been pulling my hair out and the thought of how much i could have written by now. I really have missed the bloggers sceen but for now, i'm just going to have to hold on a wee bit longer. with no money and little chance of getting any under my circumstances its not looking promising. On a rare occasion of niceness (and i say rare, i definitely jinxed myself after saying that) i have been allowed a moment of explanation to you dear people. The precise second i have the resources for the amount of time i need, its sure to say i will be jumping back on the blogging wagon :) Its not a goodbye, its a see you later! Toodles xx

Head to toe series - Earrings †

I've been umming and arring over what to write about next, but my fingers are craving a keyboard. After the recent lottery talk thats been about recently, i've been fantasizing like crazy over the things i would buy. I will admit i winge about materialistic beings, but to have that amount of money i know it would be hard not to. I'm constantly one to 'window shop' and i live for clothes. Apart from art, its the only thing i'm really passionate about. And i am most definitely not the cleverest of people, so when it comes to things i'm good at i'll try my best to make the most of it. Therefor, this post is all about what i love and if i had the money, the things i would purchase. Hopefully it gives you guys a chance to get to know me, and my style. I'm not too sure how i'm going to go about this quite yet so i may have been writing this for a few days before the post goes up haha. I really wouldn't know how to describe my style, or me for that matter. I definitely think that your style reflects your personality, so its silly to follow the crowd and look the same as everybody else right? I like change and i'd most certainly prefer to be myself, as apposed to what every body else wants you to be. I have been through stages in my early teen years of being a sheep and its taken me a while to find myself, and i am still in that process. I've actually decided whilst writing this that i'm going to do this in a series of posts, going from head to toe. So, watch this space and let me know if you think this would be a good idea?! some idea's on what you'd all like to see, or a better idea on how i could do this then please let me know!

I've picked out a selection of earrings that i have in my want list, that a absolutely love and all reflect my style in different ways. The cross earrings in particular have been wanted for a very vert long time, and i am determined to have them in the near future. I shall list the prices, and where i found them below and the numbers will go from top left to right (hopefully you understand what i mean)

P.s I really need someones help, i'm having a lot of trouble with the quality of my photo's the moment i upload them to my blog. Does anyone have any idea why it does this or how i can fix it? Its rather bothering me and i've searched everywhere for a solution!! thankyou x

A little bite of my life.

I'm currently in a wee bit of a pickle. Constricted to my front room/kitchen, with my eyes streaming feel a wee hot and bothered. After feeling a little peckish this morning i found myself cooking up a BLT (bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich to all you others that haven't the foggiest). Massive mistake. I burnt my bacon, and if i even think to open my door for a second the whole buildings fire alarms will go crazy. Being stuck in one room is certainly not my idea of a monday morning of all days, as i'm home alone and now stuck in this disaster. So here i am, with nothing but my laptop and the television and the perfect opportunity for a blog post! This blog, is more than a muddle and not very consistent in its subject and i'm not to sure how its going to go down. Maybe you enjoy reading about my extremely flustered morning at my expense, i don't know..let me know? After the last post that i added, i've had a rummage around the internet and a fiddle on photoscape, i have decided that by the end of this week i shall have 'pillar box' red hair. Yes, i know my hair my be on its death bed after the amount its been through in its 17 years of life and most certainly in the last month or two but i promise you, and my hair that this shall be the end of its torture. After research, and a lot of it i have settled on purchasing the 'Majiccontrast by Loreal' in red. Its not too pricey, considering i have relatively short hair therefore only really needing one tube.I couldn't find it in the shops, but have found it on ebay making it around 12 pounds per tube plus peroxide costing 5 pounds maximum. I'm hoping that it will turn out a real red as apposed to the ever popular Rihanna shade, i don't like to follow the sheep. So, if you'd like me to take you through the steps and my method of doing it then leave a comment or what ever and i shall! Heres a picture i messed around with, to show you the shade i'm going for..what you think?

I have also noticed, that my fashion posts are a little more popular than the other miss match of ramble so i'm going to post some more. I'm planning on a 'Lust for' number and some pictures so keep your eyes peeled.
